Alan’s senior leadership experience spans traditional, digital, social and experiential communications and marketing on behalf of leading brands and organizations. Recognized as both highly strategic as well as creative, Alan is known for his ability to crystalize marketing insights from complex business challenges, while fostering strong, trust-based relationships with his colleagues, partners and teams.
Alan's experience includes marketing and communications leadership positions with Spirit of America, where he led marketing and communications efforts to aid Afghan refugees and Ukrainians defending their nation and The Nature Conservancy, where he stewarded a major evolution of the brand strategy across a global organization. Alan was also the founder and CEO and award winning agency Brand New World, where leading clients like Discovery, Johnson and Johnson and Coca Cola came for innovative digital and brand solutions. Alan has also held leaderhip positions with leading agencies and media orgranizations including Sapient,DDB, NPR and America Online. Despite Alan being a performing jazz and blues saxophonist, this is no one-person band. Feldenkris brings together some of best and brightest in strategy, creative, technology, multi-cultural marketing and leadership coaching to ensure we can handle an organization's unique set of challenges and help their people realize their full passions and potential. Alan resides in Washington, DC with his wife Raluca Bucur, and their unruly Australian shepherd, Jackson. Alan enjoys cycling and performing as a saxophonist with fellow local jazz musicians.
